The Paragon system is a fusion of the most effective techniques found in various styles of martial arts and boxing. The mix of fitness, safety and effectiveness attracts a wide audience, and in our classes there are often as many women participating as men, from beginner levels on up.
We offer 3 beginner foundation courses to develop fitness, confidence and technique before progressing to the mixed ability classes.
Having achieved their red belt, students who wish to can continue to progress through a five belt grading system towards the much coveted black belt.
A History Of Kickboxing
Since the birth of kickboxing in the mid seventies, legendary martial arts icons such as Joe Lewis, Bill Wallace and Benny ‘the Jet’ Urquidez have carried kickboxing to the forefront of martial arts.
The techniques and training methods employed by kickboxing are a far cry from the methods used in traditional martial arts which tend to be based on rigid movements and have little practical use. Kickboxing adopts a modern approach that can be enjoyed on a competitive level as well as being an effective means of self-defence and fitness.
