Techniques

Kickboxing combines punches and evasive movements from traditional boxing with kicks from Muay Thai and Tai Kwon Do and sweeps and throws adopted from Judo and Karate.

Teaching methods involve padwork routines, bag work, shadow fighting and controlled sparring for advanced students (optional).

Kickboxing incorporates modern training principles to develop the highest levels of fitness safely and effectively. Interval training, plyometric drills and core stability exercises are all incorporated into our workouts.

Relaxation and stretching techniques are an important feature of all of our classes.
